Communities Mental Health & Wellbeing Fund & III Fund

Over £400,000 was awarded to 63 third sector organisations across Clackmannanshire and Stirling from both the Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund and the Ideas, Innovation and Improvement (III) Fund.

The Scottish Government’s Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund aims to support adult community-based initiatives to help address the impact of distress and mental ill health caused by social isolation and loneliness, as we as addressing the mental health inequalities exacerbated by the Covid-19 pandemic. The fund aims to take a preventative approach and allow communities to develop their own solutions, including developing stronger partnerships. This is the first time that Third Sector Interfaces (TSI) have administered this fund which was launched in November 2021.

In addition, SVE and CTSI also allocated the Ideas Innovation and Improvement Fund which is to support the development of third sector projects that are a ‘test of change’ which build capacity in communities in order to encourage health and wellbeing in Clackmannanshire and Stirling. The III Fund is allocated to SVE and CTSI by the Clackmannanshire and Stirling Health and Social Care Partnership on an annual basis.

We had a total of 104 applications, with nearly 2/3 successfully receiving funding. Please see a further breakdown of which organisations were successful here
