COVID-19 Free Risk Assessment Training

SVE recently facilitated two Free Risk Assessment training courses based on identifying a need in the third sector as organisations return to the workplace. The training was led by Natasha Gordon from Glasgow Council for the Voluntary Sector (GCVS)

This course specifically focused on risks associated with Covid-19 and moving into Phase 3.  Delegates learned how to identify and assess risk and the difference between risks and hazards.  The course also covered the legal duty of care to ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of everyone in an organisation.  This course specifically focused on risks associated with Covid – 19 and moving into Phase 3.

Attendees were provided with templates and guidance that will help them to carry out their own organisational risk assessment.

I would recommend it to anybody and hope SVE will repeat the session. All our Board members should have the opportunity to attend. Some of them tried, but the course was already full.  Stirling School of English

Trainer and Facilitator/s were very well informed, knowledgeable and very good team work and coordination of the session.
