calendar icon 14 May 2018
From 1:30 pm until 3:00 pm

Transport Scotland is currently reviewing the National Transport Strategy with a view to developing a successor transport strategy (the NTS2) that will set out a compelling vision of the transport system that we all wish to see for Scotland over the next 20 years.

Transport Scotland wish to engage with and collect the views of older people in order to gain a greater insight and understanding of how the transport system could evolve and adapt to continue to enable older people to live independently, with a good quality of life, in our communities.

Age Scotland is delighted be working with Transport Scotland to organise a series of community engagement events across the country, giving older people an opportunity to have their say on this important consultation.  In the Forth Valley area,  the meeting will be held on Monday 14 May at Sauchie Hall, Mar Place, Sauchie, Alloa FK10 3EA.  The consultation will take place from 1.30 – 3pm, and anyone interested in attending is welcome to join us for lunch at 12.30pm.

>If you would like to attend, please contact Carole Anderson, Age Scotland Community Development Officer,  e-mail carole.anderson@agescotland.org.uk  tel: 01577 864658, stating the number of places you would like to book and any dietary requirements.
