calendar icon 25 June 2026
From 10:00 am until 12:30 pm

Scottish charity law has changed, and these changes affect how charities are run and governed.

Join this practical online workshop to understand what the Charities (Regulation and Administration) (Scotland) Act 2023 means for your charity, your trustees, and senior managers, and what you need to do to stay compliant and confident.

This session is suitable for:

  • Charity trustees
  • Senior managers
  • Charity staff involved in governance, finance, or compliance

What the workshop will cover:

  • Why new charity legislation was introduced and what it aims to achieve
  • What has changed and what has not changed in charity law
  • OSCR’s new and enhanced powers
  • What charities need to do to be compliant

The session will focus on what these legal changes mean in practice. Examples will be used to illustrate risks, responsibilities, and good practice. This workshop will help charities move from uncertainty to clarity, and from compliance risk to confidence.
