Power of Attorney Day

Carers Scotland and Standard Life have joined forces to launch the first ever UK-wide Power of Attorney Day which will take place on Wednesday 22 April 2026. The initiative aims to raise awareness and understanding of Power of Attorney and to encourage more people to put them in place. Solicitors for Older People Scotland have been invited to take part and Caesar & Howie, as local members, will indeed be getting involved across their Forth Valley office network.

There will be a series of drop in sessions in Falkirk, Bo’ness and Alloa where Caesar & Howie staff will be on hand to provide free information and advice on the benefits of having a Power of Attorney in place. The sessions are as follows:-

10.00AM – 12.00PM 54 South Street, Bo’ness, EH51 9HA
10.00AM – 2.00PM Later Life Information Centre, 25 Newmarket Street, Falkirk, FK1 1JH
2.00PM - 4.00PM 27 Mar Street, Alloa, FK10 1HX


Many over 60s will quality to have their Power of Attorney and other important legal documents prepared for free – it costs nothing to check so please feel free to come along for a chat.
