Volunteers Week 2026 - Get Involved

Volunteers’ Week is fast approaching, and we’d love to celebrate the incredible contribution of volunteers across our network.

We’re inviting organisations to get involved in a number of ways - whether that’s sharing your plans, taking part in a fun challenge, or helping us shine a spotlight on your volunteers.

Goosechase Challenge

We are asking if any organisations/volunteers would like to participate in this group challenge activity. This activity is accessed remotely via mobile phone, and the challenges are interactive group tasks to engage volunteers and have a bit of fun. Organisations and volunteers can dip in and out throughout volunteer’s week to complete tasks and compete with other organisations to win a victory mascot.

Tell Us Your Plans

Are you hosting an event, celebration or activity during Volunteers’ Week? We’d love to:

  • Help promote it
  • Attend where possible
  • Share it across our channels

Free Volunteer Certificates

We can provide:

  • Participation certificates
  • Appreciation certificates

These can be collected or dropped off ahead of Volunteers’ Week.

Share Your Stories & Messages

Help us celebrate your volunteers by sharing:

  • A short thank you message or video
  • A volunteer story or case study
  • A quote about what volunteering means to you

We’re particularly keen to feature:

  • Individual volunteers
  • Groups or teams
  • Organisations making a difference
  • Spotlight Features & Blogs

We’d love to create blogs and spotlight features on our social media and website - and we can support you with this.

If you’re not sure what to include, here are a few prompts:

  • What impact have your volunteers made?
  • What problem should volunteering be solving in 10 years’ time?
  • How can small organisations compete for volunteers in a crowded landscape?
  • What’s something the sector doesn’t talk about enough when it comes to volunteering?
  • What would you say to someone who doesn’t think volunteering is for them?

Please complete our short form to let us know how you’d like to take part: Volunteers week 2026 - Get involved
