Funding
Funding is something almost all third sector groups are looking for, whether it’s for day to day running costs, or to improve services, or cash for a specific project. But it’s also one of the most problematic areas, as groups struggle just to survive in these economically straitened times.
Much as we would like to, SVE cannot secure you funding! We can, however, help you find and identify possible funding sources. These might be charitable trusts, funding from statutory sources such as government or local authority, or one of the lottery funding streams.
We organise an annual Funding Fair in partnership with Stirling Council. This gives local organisations the opportunity to come along and meet local and national funders, and chat through their funding needs.
We also advertise current funding opportunities on our twitter, Facebook, in our news section and in our ebulletin.
Resources
Stirling Council has teamed up with SCVO's Funding Scotland to provide an advanced online funding search for your charity, community group or social enterprise. From small grants to funding for big capital projects, it can help you track down the funding you need.
Community Bulletin
Funding information can be found on the Stirling Council Community Development Team’s regular Community Bulletin. It provides the latest relevant news and issues both locally and nationally for communities and organisations.
